Accompanied Home Viewings

Finding suitable housing is a priority for many families and individuals moving to Qatar and Country Connections Qatar is well equipped with the right information on what is available and where. Licensed by the State of Qatar Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Country Connections Qatar has a dedicated housing team whose prime objective is to assist our clients in finding their new home. Depending on your location, vocation and specific needs we will conduct a comprehensive search and compile an individual listing of properties of potential interest for consideration.

Where applicable Country Connections Qatar will secure appropriate appointments with reputable estate agents and property owners of selected properties and a representative appointed by Country Connections will accompany you throughout the home search, being on-hand to offer advice and assistance to secure the best possible contract terms for your chosen home.

Water & Electricity Registration

Once you have selected your new home it is required that the tenant registers to activate an account for water and electricity usage. At present there is only one supplier for such utilities that being ‘Kahramaa’ and the registration process can be time consuming. Country Connection Qatar can steer you through the process and on receipt of the required documentation from the client will action the registration with Kahramaa on their behalf.

Pre-Move Property Cleaning Service

Country Connections Qatar will arrange and oversee the cleaning your new home prior to your move-in date leaving you free to concentrate on the more important tasks such as unpacking your suitcase!

Welcome Basket

For those individuals or families moving into their new home in Doha, either straight from the airport or from temporary hotel accommodation, Country Connections Qatar will arrange a delivery of basic ‘essentials’ to help you feel more at home. Typically the basket will include: bread, milk, bottled water, tea bags, coffee, sugar, butter, selection of fruit juices, preserves, breakfast cereals, disposable plates, bowls, cups and cutlery, kitchen towel, toilet rolls, soap, washing up liquid. As a special welcome from Country Connections Qatar our ‘Welcome to Qatar’ voucher pack will be included in each basket with our compliments…..to help you feel more at home!
